What this notice covers
This notice explains the application form on shieldline.cc, operated for the SHIELD LINE beta project. It covers this website and its interest list. Any future assistant will have its own data-processing information before you use it.
What you share
The form collects your email address, selected area of interest, agreement to the terms and, if you choose to provide them, your name and a description of your first task. We also record the application time and terms version. Please do not include confidential documents or sensitive personal information in the task field.
How an application is used
The project team uses applications to understand intended use cases, organize beta invitations and respond about participation. Sending the form does not subscribe you to unrelated marketing. Applications are stored on the website’s hosting infrastructure and are accessible to the people administering the beta and the hosting provider as needed to provide the service.
Technical data and cookies
A session cookie keeps the form secure and supports confirmation messages. The application stores a daily hash derived from the request IP address for submission limits. The web host may also keep ordinary server access and error logs, including IP addresses. This site does not include advertising trackers or analytics scripts. Interface examples run locally in your browser.
Retention and your choices
Applications are kept while the beta interest list is being managed. You can ask to access, correct or delete your application, or withdraw your interest, by contacting hello@shieldline.cc from the address used to apply. The team will process applicable requests and remove data that is no longer needed. Closing the browser ends the session cookie; server-side sessions follow the host’s session settings.
